Supported Manufacturers and Products
Servicemark sells, installs, and maintains Nitsuko, NEC and Mitel systems.
Nitsuko was acquired by NEC in 2001, leveraging NEC’s and Nitsuko’s research, development, and experience within the telecom market. The new company, under the NEC brand name continues to provide solid and usable technologies for today and future business communication needs.
Servicemark can service and maintain Nitsuko’s I-series solutions (28I, 124I, 384I, 740I) the Onyx series, NEC Aspire series, as well as the Mitel 200EX series.
Voicemail support includes all Nitsuko, NEC, and Mitel partner solutions as well as the newer AspireMail products.
NEC Aspire
The NEC Aspire is a hybrid phone system solution– meaning it can be deployed as a more traditional phone system, without voice-over-internet-protocol (VoIP) or it can be 100% VoIP, using your data network to conduct communications, or somewhere in between.
You can deploy traditional circuit-switched technology, VoIP or a combination, all from one system! You have the freedom to adopt VoIP when and where you need it.
The Aspire can be scaled to handle 99% of the customers in the SMB (small-to-medium business) market, providing an easy upgrade path as the VoIP technology matures.
So if you are unsure about VoIP, the caveats, or aren’t ready, the Aspire can serve you today and is ready for you tomorrow.
Another interesting feature of this product: Aspire provides peer-to-peer IP switching. “Peer-to-peer” switching means that the stations participating in a call are connected directly to each other through the IP network. This is a decentralized model, as the signals travel through the IP network but do not “go through” the switch as they do in traditional telephony.
Multi-site customers can easily link multiple Aspire cabinets between offices; smaller or branch offices or remote workers can get the same features and connectivity as if they were there locally, transparent to the users. Each system can also operate independently of one another but still interact.
The optional web administration piece with our training can help you manage changes to your configuration.
The Aspire series is truly flexible and scaleable product providing usable solutions today with an eye towards the future.
Mitel
In addition to the NEC product line, we sell and service Mitel systems; these are larger systems, usually reserved for the hotel industry and similar applications.
Warranty Information
NEC offers a 5 year warranty on all the parts. In addition, Servicemark offers something truly unique in our industry: during the first year, the labor is covered if your system breaks or you need new software updates.
Music On Hold devices
Music on Hold devices are used to provide a message and/or music. This allows our customers to provide a message whether it is hold music, a message, whatever our customer wants their callers to hear.
UPS Systems
What happens if your phone system loses power? Your server? Many companies use UPS systems for their servers and network, often times overlooking the phone system’s power requirements.
UPS systems can function in a variety of ways— voltage regulation, power conditioning, and providing actual backup power.
Voltage regulation is an important feature: it does not change the waveform but rather ensures that the same voltage is passed on to the devices connected; most UPS systems have this feature. Voltage spikes and dips potentially strain the power supplies of all electronics, potentially reducing their lifespan.
If you have “dirty” power or power that fluctuates, a power conditioning UPS fits; these are usually more expensive because they are actually changing the waveform and making it standard clean power.
Power backup times vary with battery size and type, as well as what you have plugged into the UPS. Think about how long you could go without phones, knowing that the phone system would eventually lose power -- 30 minutes? An hour?
UPS Systems provide a very important piece to the system puzzle; by using good UPS systems you can overcome dirty power and voltage fluctuations and provide power to your phone system when there is a loss of electricity.
Maintenance Agreements
Peace of mind is something we all enjoy; as consumers we typically want warranties on our cars, major electronics, and even houses.
Servicemark offers General Maintenance agreements to our customers, providing that peace of mind in the event service is needed. Each agreement is custom-tailored to your configuration, based on a number of factors.
When you have a maintenance agreement with Servicemark, we stock the critical components to your phone system in case something unplanned occurs; your service will always take priority over non-maintenance agreement customers.
Maintenance agreements also provide for easy budgeting, taking the guesswork out of phone system related maintenance expenses.
Servicemark offers several maintenance plans, ranging from the basic labor-only (Silver) all the way to extensive parts and labor. (Platinum)
